Tierra Bonita PTA extends a heartfelt THANK YOU to all our wonderful Cheetah Volunteers. PTA knows your time is valuable and we appreciate your time and effort both on and off campus. Volunteering benefits the students, teachers, parents and Tierra Bonita Community. There are many opportunities throughout the year to assist the PTA and TBEF with events that are fun for our children and raise money for our school. Please visit our programs page to read about the different activities we organize and support throughout out the year and what you can do to be involved.
- TB Test Clearance
- Megan’s Law Clearance
- Volunteer Code of Conduct
- Sign-in at the office
All volunteers must have a current TB test on file (4 years or less). Free TB skin tests are available to all current PUSD employees and volunteers. To use District testing, you must present a Volunteer Verification Form, available in the school office. The skin test is a two-day process: Day 1: Skin Test, Day 2: Reading of Test. You must attend both days for your test to be valid.
Megan’s Law Background Check
Each volunteer must have a current Megan’s Law Background Check on file with the office. If you have never been a volunteer at Tierra Bonita, you need to fill out this form. Volunteers only need to fill out the Megan’s Law form and be cleared once. You do not need to fill out a new form for each school year. If you have volunteered at another school in PUSD, and wish to make a school site change — please notify the office and fill out the transfer request.
Volunteer Code of Conduct
Volunteers must have a Volunteer Code of Conduct form on file at each site they volunteer at.
All volunteers are required to sign-in at the office and put on a nametag. You must do this each day you volunteer. This helps us identify people on our campus and helps keep our kids safe. Thank you for remembering to do this!
